Dalai Lama gave a prayer ceremony from 9:30am at Kaohsiung Arena today. The place was full of people who followed Dalai Lama’s prayer during the ceremony. Dalai Lama also explained the meaning of the prayer after the 1-hour recitation. Kaohsiung City Mayor Chen Chu, DPP Chairwoman Tsai Ting-wen, and the president of Taiwan High Speed Rail Company Yin Chi attended this ceremony. Dalai Lama will give a public speech at 2pm today at the Garden Village (蓮潭會館), Kaohsiung.
