The colors of the autumn in Boston

In two more days, I will be leaving this city where I have so many memories. I studied in Boston University from 2005 to 2007. This is the second time I came back to Boston since I left in 2007. And every time I came back, I have totally different feeling about the city.

I have pretty relaxing schedules during the past few days. I visited Rockport on Thursday. It’s a small ocean city in Massachusetts. I walked for four hours there, visiting the Halibut Point State Park. On Friday afternoon, my friend and I went to a Boston Symphony Orchestra concert. We got cheap rush tickets to enjoy such a magnificent performance. In the evening of the same day, I attended my department’s alumni dinner at Hyatt Cambridge. I met some of my classmates who I haven’t seen for more than two years. It’s really nice to see them again, knowing they’re doing well with their research, work, and job huntings. I know they’ll all be successful in their future because they’re really smart and devoted to what they love.

Besides all the above auspiciousness I had, I was so lucky that I didn’t miss the David Foster & Friends concert at BU’s Agganis Arena on Sunday night. It’s a very romantic concert with great performances and great songs. As a fan of David Foster, I really feel thrilled about being able to go to that concert. It’s indeed an unforgettable night to me.

This trip has made many of my dreams come true. Sometimes I feel it’s simply too unreal. I hope I can adjust myself well to the new working life after this wonderful vacation. Now it’s time for me to enjoy the good weather in this lovely city again. I’ll post more later when I go back to Taiwan.
