It’s been more than a month since I joined the new company in Hong Kong. However, I haven’t settled down in Hong Kong. In fact, I am currently doing a project in Taipei. The client is the first company I worked for. It’s funny to work in the same office with old colleagues again.
I’ve been on this business trip to Taiwan for a month, and I expect to stay for another month until the end of January. Hopefully I can stay here until Lunar New Year. I already feel uncomfortable when I think of living in Hong Kong. So I try not to think of that right now.
My company has two projects for the client in Taiwan at the same time. My colleagues, including Chinese, Hongkongese, and Malaysians, all love Taiwan very much, especially the food. They also feel very comfortable about living in Taiwan. I’ve got many chances to enjoy good restaurants and food with them every night after work. Some even wish to move to Taiwan. I can’t stop wondering why KMT and its stupid supporters can’t love Taiwan as much as those foreigners.
I enjoy my new job so far. The work is endless, but I seldom feel stressful. My only stress comes from the last two exams which I need to pass. I should and have better start studying for the exams. I think that’s my most important plan in 2010.
Happy New Year! 🙂
