首次入住這間於2021年12月開業的台灣首家洲際酒店，前四晚使用IHG會員點數（因為我有美國Chase IHG Premier信用卡，點數兌換四晚可享第四晚免費，我還有另外一張Chase IHG Select信用卡，可享點數房10%點數回饋），最終四晚花了110,700點數，而第五晚則是透過Wota訂了有雙人早餐、台幣2,888元餐飲額度、房間升等、晚退房的專案（專案內容請看另一則影片）。
週六入住時幾乎滿房，因此只被升一等到「豪華雅緻客房」，景觀面向夢時代，致悦大使會員可獲得兩張迎賓飲料券以及兩張台幣599元的餐飲抵用券，洲際大使在飯店餐廳用餐皆可享85折的優惠，但抵用券與餐飲折扣不得同時並用。
飯店設施空間都不大，對我來說比較像高級商務飯店，但因為離港灣近，對觀光客來說是不錯的新選擇。

This is my first visit in InterContinental Kaohsiung, which opened in December 2021 and was the first InterContinental hotel in Taiwan. I redeemed the first four nights with IHG Rewards points (4th night is free with Chase IHG Premier credit card and 10% point rebate with Chase IHG Select credit card). Ultimately I spent 110,700 points for four nights. I booked the fifth night through Wota Travel with benefits including daily breakfast for two, food and beverage credit of NT$2,888, room upgrade, and late check out (see the other video for the details).
The hotel was almost fully booked when I checked in on Saturday, so my room was upgraded by one level to Premium room facing Dream Mall. Spire Ambassador members are offered two welcome drink vouchers, two food & beverages vouchers of NT$599. Ambassadors also get 15% discount in the hotel restaurants. However, the vouchers cannot be used together with members discount.
The hotel is more like a luxury business hotel due to its small space in all facilities. Nonetheless, its location is close to the harbor area and thus it is a nice option for tourists.
