My first visit in Vienna was less than 12 hours. I chose to stay at Renaissance Wien Hotel , which does not locate in the city center. It was already dark when I arrived at Vienna, and basically no restaurants were open near the hotel. I also could not see any tourist places around. Perhaps it was the holiday period, the receptionist was a bit impatient about the room upgrade request when I checked in. Eventually my room was upgraded by one level from a standard room to a premium room.
The breakfast was rich, and the restaurant interior was fancy. I had to check out early because of my early flight. I think I will consider a hotel with convenient location when I visit Vienna next time.

首次造訪維也納卻只有短短不到12小時的停留，選擇入住地點不在市中心的「維也納萬麗酒店」。抵達維也納時已經天黑，附近幾乎沒有餐廳營業，也看不到什麼聖誕節裝飾或是景點。或許適逢耶誕假期，辦理入住登記時櫃檯人員對於詢問房間可否升等的要求也顯得不耐煩，最終從基本客房升一等到尊榮客房。
飯店早餐還蠻豐盛，餐廳裝潢也很華麗。因為趕早班飛機的緣故，一大早用完早餐就退房了。若有機會再訪維也納，我應該會選擇地點比較方便的飯店。
