JW Marriott Jeju Resort & Spa opened on 28 March, 2023. I stayed there for two nights two weeks later. The hotel has several buildings, including JW Marriott Jeju Residence for long-term stay. The hotel was designed by Bill Bensley. He added many local elements from the lobby to the rooms with the features of Korean traditional architecture. Every room faces the ocean with beautiful ocean view. I stayed in different types of rooms for the two nights. JW Marriott Resort does not offer late checkout. I had to check out at 11am first and waited until 3pm to check in again for changing the room. I think that rule was a bit superfluous.
I stayed in Premium King guest room for the first night. The room is spacious with a large bed and a large sofa. The bathroom is at the end of the room with a very large bathtub, whereas the toilet locates near the door. The balcony offers very nice view of the ocean during daytime. Marriott Bonvoy Titanium members can choose complimentary breakfast for two as welcome amenity. The breakfast is actually brunch which opens until 2pm. It includes very lavish buffet and a la cart menus including steaks, lobsters, crabs, fishes, etc. The food quality is excellent and fresh. I enjoyed quite a lot.
The hotel facilities include kids play room, gym, outdoor warm pool, indoor warm pool and whirlpool. Another side of the pool is the hot spring area, but it is still under maintenance. The garden is not big, and part of the area is still under construction. It may look very nice when all constructions are completed in the future.
The hotel General Manager came to greet and chat with guests during brunch and dinner time. He even remembered my name the next day. I can feel that the hotel provides as best service as they can. Perhaps they do not have enough cleaning staff, the check-in process and room waiting time was extremely long. I hope they can improve this in the near future. Overall it is a very luxury and chill resort. I cannot wait to visit there again soon.

濟州島JW萬豪渡假飯店於2023年3月28日正式開幕，我在開幕後兩週便迫不及待地去體驗入住。飯店整體有好幾棟建築，另有給長期入住的居住飯店。飯店由室內設計師Bill Bensley操刀設計，融入許多當地元素，從大廳到客房，都可見韓國傳統建築的特色。飯店內所有客房都是面海，景色怡人。此次入住兩晚，分別是不同的房型。JW萬豪度假村並未提供延遲退房的福利，因此換房當日一樣在早上11點先退房然後下午再重新辦理入住，我覺得此舉有點龜毛。
第一晚入住的是「尊榮客房」，房間不小，有一大床和大沙發，浴室在房間最裡面的右側，有個很大的浴缸，廁所則是在門口處。房間有陽台，白天可欣賞海景。萬豪禮享家鈦金會員入住可選兩客早餐為歡迎禮，飯店為了讓客人有渡假感覺，早餐可使用到下午兩點，餐點非常豐盛，自助餐除了有龍蝦牛排螃蟹等美食之外，也另有單點菜單，包括龍蝦牛排和煎魚等，食材非常新鮮美味，真的是物超所值。
飯店設施有兒童遊戲室、健身房、室外溫水泳池、室內溫水泳池和戲水區，泳池另一邊是溫泉區，還在整修尚未完工，花園不大，部分地方也還在整理施工，未來全部完工感覺應該很美。
用餐時間飯店的總經理都會來跟客人打招呼，甚至隔天還記得我的名字，可以感受他們努力用心的服務。然而可能因為清潔人員不足，等候房間的時間非常久，下午三點辦理入住還要再等一小時才拿到房卡， 然後又不給延遲退房，這一點似乎讓許多房客有所抱怨。整體來說是個非常奢華舒適的渡假飯店，我很期待能盡快再去那裡度假。
