ANA InterContinental Beppu Resport & Spa opened on 1 August 2019. It was temporarily closed during COVID-19. I am very delighted to experience this new hotel. I booked four rewards nights with IHG points, and I informed the hotel about my arrival time and made the reservation for the hotel shuttle car in advance. They replied very kindly and offered me free taxi if I arrived late. During my stay, they also exceptionally offered me free taxi between the hotel and Beppu Station several times for my travel plans. Their generosity and hospitality are really impressive.
I was guided to the Club Lounge immediately to enjoy the happy hour after my arrive because I have an annual lounge pass. They processed my check-in in the lounge. Because the breakfast is offered only in the restaurant, IHG One Rewards Diamond members can choose the welcome gift between two welcome drink vouchers and 600 points. I selected the welcome drink vouchers and used them in the restaurant when I had dinner there. Besides, InterContinental Ambassadors can receive 2,000 Japanese yens food and beverage credit. It was deducted from my dinner bill. Because all junior suites were fully booked, my room was upgraded to high floor with Beppu city view. I was also allowed to do late check-out at 6pm. Every room has a balcony to observe the mountain view or the city view. The guest room is quite spacious with a large bathroom, a sofa and a table. The scenery of Beppu city is very charming, dynamically changing with the weather in the day and night.
The hotel facilities include a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, and onsen with indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pools allow you to enjoy the spectacular and fantastic view of Beppu Bay. The breakfast is offered at the restaurant on the top floor. In addition to the buffet, guests with club lounge access can also unlimitedly order from a la cart menu. The dishes are simple but delicate. It is very enough for breakfast. I can’t wait to bring my family to experience this comfortable resort next time!

「全日空別府洲際度假飯店」於2019年8月1日開幕，疫情期間有暫時停業一陣子，很高興有這次機會來體驗新飯店。此次入住四晚，是用點數兌換，事先寫信給飯店預約從別府車站到飯店的接駁車，並告知預計抵達時間，飯店人員非常親切的回覆，並告知如果我的抵達時間延誤，他們會提供免費的計程車載我去飯店。而入住期間需依賴飯店的接駁車，他們也破例幾次配合我的出遊計畫提供免費的計程車讓我往返飯店和別府車站，親切慷慨的服務實在令人印象深刻。
因為我有酒廊通行證，首日傍晚抵達飯店隨即被帶到俱樂部酒廊享用快樂時光，用餐同時飯店人員也幫我辦理入住登記，因為早餐都是在餐廳使用，鑽石會員歡迎禮可選兩杯迎賓飲料或600點數，我選了迎賓飲料，並在餐廳用餐時使用，另外洲際大使會員有2000日圓的餐飲額度，我用在晚餐的折抵。飯店說因為小套房已滿，只能讓我升等到最高樓層（4樓）且有市景的經典客房，並讓我延退到晚上六點。每間房間都有陽台可欣賞山景或市景，客房空間算大，有沙發和餐桌，浴室也很寬廣，日夜以及不同天氣的景色都很迷人。
飯店設施有24小時健身房，戶外泳池和室內外溫泉。室外溫泉可瞭望別府灣，日夜的景色都很夢幻，可以看到各地的湯屋冒著白煙。早餐都在最高樓層的餐廳使用，除了自助餐之外，有酒廊權益的客人可享有另外不限次數單點的菜單，菜色簡單精緻，可以吃得很飽。我等不及要帶家人來體驗這家舒適的渡假飯店。
